  • His first appearance comes during the World Cup group draw on Friday, 5 December, with MagentaTV’s free broadcast starting at 17:45.
  • Wolff Fuss will commentate the draw with Sascha Bandermann, and reporter Thomas Wagner will handle interviews, with broader hosting led by Johannes B. Kerner.
  • MagentaTV holds rights to all 104 tournament matches, 44 of them exclusive to its pay platform, while around 60 games will air on ARD and ZDF via sub-licensing.
  • Hummels, who retired after a final season with AS Roma and now analyzes Champions League matches for Prime Video, said the production will operate from New York and inside stadiums, with expert assignments to be set after the draw.
