Overview
- The Massport–Uber–Lyft partnership, which launched Thursday, is running fixed-route shuttles between Logan and key hubs in Boston and Cambridge that complement existing transit.
- Uber operates Central Boston and Cambridge routes every 30 minutes from 2 p.m. to midnight with stops at Allston, BU/Kenmore, North Station, Porter Square, Harvard Square, and Kendall/MIT.
- Lyft runs a Porter–Somerville–Lechmere line hourly from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with stops at Porter Square, the Cambria Hotel in Somerville, and Lechmere.
- Riders reserve individual seats in the Uber or Lyft apps, pay $3 for the first week then $10 for the first month and $15 after, and receive a Ticket to Skip to the front of TSA lines at Logan.
- The rollout follows a deal tied to last summer’s higher ride-hail airport fees and mirrors Uber shuttle programs at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark.
