Overview
- State highway officials, in a Monday briefing, launched a “Kick the Drive” campaign urging people to plan ahead or avoid Foxborough on match days, with most games set for Tuesdays and Fridays.
- MBTA will run up to 14 express commuter-rail trains between South Station and the stadium, with $80 round-trip tickets sold on the mTicket app and valid across the system on match days.
- Boston Stadium Express buses operated by Yankee Line will run direct trips from more than 20 pickup spots, including Logan Airport and Providence, with fares from $25 to $95 and capacity for up to 10,000 riders per match.
- Route 1 will use dynamic bus lanes to keep buses moving, while parking near the venue is limited to about 5,000 pre-purchased spots with the cheapest passes around $175.
- Ride-hailing and taxis can use designated pickup and drop-off areas, but private cars cannot drop fans at the stadium, a rule set after March’s France–Brazil friendly exposed severe congestion on local roads.
