Overview
- Over the weekend large coordinated Russian strikes used cruise missiles, precision-guided weapons and hundreds of attack drones to hit logistics hubs, data centers and port facilities across Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro.
- Ukrainian officials reported multiple civilian deaths and dozens of injuries, including a drone strike on a 25‑storey building in Odesa that wounded many people and attacks on petrol stations and residential blocks in Kyiv.
- The Russian Defense Ministry published a list of named targets it says were hit, including the Bi‑Mobile data center in Kyiv, the Gostomel logistics hub, a Nova Poshta terminal in Khmelnytskyi, the Dnipro logistics centre and vessels at Chernomorsk port.
- Both sides reported very large drone numbers and high interception tallies, with Ukrainian air forces saying many Russian drones were shot down and Russia claiming hundreds of Ukrainian UAVs destroyed over its regions, the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.
- Analysts and local officials say the strikes reflect a shift toward targeting supply chains, repair and data nodes to degrade each side’s ability to sustain drone operations and to disrupt ports and rail links, which could prolong civilian outages and hamper aid and trade flows.
