Mason vs. Cordina Title Fight Set for July 4 in Cleveland

Promoters announced a July 4 card at Cleveland’s Wolstein Center headlined by WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason vs. former super-featherweight titleholder Joe Cordina, with coverage on DAZN worldwide and TNT in the United States.
The fight is Mason’s first defense of the WBO belt he won in November 2025 against Sam Noakes.
Cordina enters as a former IBF 130-pound champion who moved to lightweight and beat Jaret Gonzalez Quiroz and Gabriel Flores Jr in 2025.
WBC featherweight champion Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington will make his first defense against Rene Palacios on the same card.
The undercard features Cleveland native Tiger Johnson against fellow unbeaten welterweight Christopher Guerrero, plus four-round bouts for Abdullah’s brothers Abdurrahman Mason and Ibrahim Mason.
