Maryland Man Arrested And Charged In Franconia Peeping And Stalking Case
Police say video evidence and multi-agency cooperation led to the arrest, and detectives are asking anyone with information or possible victimization to contact Fairfax County investigators.
Overview
- Fairfax County police identified 42-year-old Landon Anthony Taylor as the suspect in two peeping incidents reported on consecutive nights in the 5900 block of Coverdale Way and arrested him in Rockville on Aug. 14.
- Officers say the suspect fled the scene before police arrived but investigators used camera footage and other evidence to link Taylor to the Franconia incidents.
- Taylor was served with two counts of peeping and one count of stalking after his arrest, which involved Fairfax’s Warrant Squad, Metro Transit Police, and Montgomery County Police.
- The woman who reported the incidents told reporters she set up a camera that captured the suspect and said she feels safer now that he is in custody, while police continue to ask the public to call 703-256-8035 with tips or other victims to contact.
- Local reporting and public records reviewed by outlets show Taylor has a long history of peeping and sex‑related charges in the DMV area, and detectives say they are searching for additional possible victims as the investigation continues.
