Marvel Tokon Open Beta Goes Live on PS5 and PC

The weekend test lets players sample Episode Mode, try 16 of the 20 launch characters, and helps stress-test online systems ahead of the August 6 release.

Overview

The global open beta launched Friday, July 24, and is available to download on PS5 via the PlayStation Store and on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Players can access 16 of the game's 20 launch characters plus Startup Battle and Training modes so they can learn mechanics and practice combos.
The beta includes a portion of Episode Mode with motion-comic style presentation and an opening cinematic, with single-player writing credited to Kieron Gillen.
PC players must sign in with a PlayStation account to participate and the test runs through region-staggered end times around July 26–27 to evaluate servers and localization.
Arc System Works developed the game for Sony and plans a full launch on August 6, 2026, with this beta serving as the final public preview before release.
