Overview
- Sony and Arc System Works confirmed a 72-hour open beta starting Friday, July 24 at 12:00 a.m. PT and running through July 26 to give a wide public test before launch.
- The beta will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store with pre-downloads opening two hours before the test begins.
- No prior registration or PlayStation Plus subscription is required to join but all players must have an internet connection and a PlayStation account on both PS5 and PC.
- Fifteen of the game’s 20 launch characters are playable in the beta, and participants will access six stages plus Ranked and Casual online matches, local Versus, and Training modes.
- The test includes the first three chapters of Episode Mode with full launch localization and is intended to stress-test online systems and showcase presentation ahead of the August 6 release.
