- With this milestone, WagonR becomes only the third model in India to reach 35 lakh units, joining the Alto and Swift.
- The model is built at Maruti Suzuki’s Gurugram and Manesar plants, with the current generation introduced in 2019 on Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform.
- Maruti Suzuki has added a factory-fit swivel-seat variant to aid easier entry and exit for seniors and people with disabilities, requiring no structural changes and taking about an hour to install.
- The latest WagonR includes six airbags as standard along with ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program, and a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system.
- WagonR has been India’s highest-selling car for the past four financial years and, globally, the nameplate sells in 75+ countries with cumulative sales crossing 1 crore in August 2025.
