Maruti Suzuki Adds 502 Service Points, Targets 8,000 by FY31

The record buildout brings coverage to about 3,000 cities to support higher output plans.

Overview

  • Maruti Suzuki said it expanded its after-sales network by 502 touchpoints in FY26, taking the total to 5,926 nationwide.
  • The footprint now spans roughly 3,000 cities and uses a mix of ARENA and NEXA workshops, Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points, and mobile units for service and bodywork.
  • The company aims to scale the network to around 8,000 touchpoints by FY2030-31 to keep service within easy reach in large and small markets.
  • MSIL linked the push to production growth, citing a Rs 10,189 crore Gujarat plant that starts with 250,000 units a year in phase one and a goal of 4 million annual capacity by FY2030-31.
  • Recent sales trends back the expansion, with March volumes up about 5% year on year to 225,251 units, including 169,428 domestic passenger vehicles and 47,040 exports.
