Overview
- Officials confirmed Sunday that the arrests were made Saturday during coordinated operations across Imphal West, Imphal East and Thoubal.
- The suspects were identified as KYKL member Hemarjit Leishangthem, KCP (Taibangnganba) member Huyam Rameshwor Singh, and PREPAK-Pro members Rajkumar Navy Meitei and Thongam Ronaldo Singh.
- Teams recovered a 36 HE hand grenade, multiple mobile phones, an Aadhaar card and an Airtel Airfiber device.
- The PREPAK-Pro arrests in Thoubal were carried out at Wangjing Bazar and Lilong Bazar in connection with reported extortion activity.
- All four detainees and the seized items were transferred to local police stations for further legal action.
