  • In Imphal West, a joint team recovered a double-barrel gun, a country-made pistol with a magazine, 181 rounds, three magazines, two No. 36 grenades, a detonator and a Baofeng radio with charger.
  • Security forces arrested Ningthoujam Ibungocha, also known as Sathouba Meitei, at Yaingangpokpi Bazar in Imphal East, seizing his mobile phone and SIM; police describe him as a self-styled PLA lieutenant and extortionist.
  • A second suspect, Athokpam Manaoton Meitei, was detained at Sawombung in Imphal East, identified by police as a self-styled Private of the RPF/PLA with multiple aliases.
  • Four bunkers were dismantled at Mongkot Chepu in Ukhrul district, where teams also recovered 24 empty fired cartridges.
  • Roughly 22 acres of illegal poppy cultivation and three farm huts were destroyed at Sehjang/Khoiripok in Kangpokpi district during an anti-narcotics drive.
