Overview
- Two masked men entered via a slightly open garage about 2:20am on January 23, threatened a couple with firearms and demanded car keys.
- The male resident, 58, was assaulted and knocked unconscious and later treated in hospital for minor facial injuries.
- Offenders found a spare key, stole a wallet and a garage fob, and fled in a maroon sedan toward Patterson Road after failing to take the Lexus due to a steering wheel lock.
- Police released digital composites and described the suspects as Caucasian-appearing males, one in his early 20s and one in his late teens, both about 180cm and wearing black hoodies and face coverings.
- Detectives are probing whether the maroon sedan is linked to two other aggravated burglaries and urged anyone with footage or information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersvic.com.au.
