Shooting occurred around 7:43 p.m. inside an apartment on the 100 block of North Lotus Avenue in South Austin.
A 33-year-old suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
A 32-year-old was shot in the left hand and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
