Overview
- Police and EMS responded late Friday night after shots were reported behind 70 Lenox Avenue during a community basketball event.
- Officers found a 35-year-old man shot in the head, a 28-year-old man shot in the shin, and a 22-year-old woman shot in the right forearm.
- The 35-year-old was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside in critical condition and was later pronounced dead; officials are withholding his name pending family notification.
- The two other victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and are listed in stable condition, and no arrests have been made.
