Overview
- Officers were called to Stanley Road around 5:45pm on Thursday, January 22, after a man in his 40s suffered head and face lacerations from a bladed weapon.

- Merseyside Police are conducting house-to-house, CCTV and forensic enquiries, with investigators documenting blood at the bench and removing a bag and coat.
