Overview
- The collision happened shortly before 6pm on Saturday on Powerstown Road in Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15.
- A male passenger in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Connolly Hospital, where a post-mortem is due.
- A woman in her 30s sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver, a man in his 40s, was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Connolly Hospital.
- The road was closed for a technical examination conducted by Gardaí and has since reopened.
