Man Dies After Jet-Ski Collision With Inflatable Off Calshot

A coroner’s file will be prepared as police continue enquiries into what caused the crash.

  • Emergency services scrambled to Calshot after reports of a man in difficulty at about 6.08pm on Sunday, July 5, and carried out a water rescue.
  • The man, aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital by ambulance and police confirmed he died on Monday.
  • The jet-ski rider and two children who were on the inflatable were brought safely ashore and were uninjured.
