Overview
- Emergency services scrambled to Calshot after reports of a man in difficulty at about 6.08pm on Sunday, July 5, and carried out a water rescue.
- The man, aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital by ambulance and police confirmed he died on Monday.
- The jet-ski rider and two children who were on the inflatable were brought safely ashore and were uninjured.
- HM Coastguard, RNLI lifeboats, coastguard rescue teams, police and ambulance crews including air ambulance units all attended the scene.
