Overview
- A 23-year-old Manchester resident, identified by officials as Pacific Sibomana, was pulled from the Piscataquog River after a friend raised the alarm.
- First responders were led about 800 feet to the scene, spotted him roughly four minutes after arrival, and pulled him from about 7 to 8 feet of water.
- The friend began lifesaving efforts on shore and responders continued CPR while carrying the man over difficult terrain to an ambulance.
- He was taken first to a local hospital and then to a regional hospital and was pronounced dead the next morning.
