- San Diego prosecutors have charged Ryan Proffitt with two counts of murder and he pleaded not guilty while being held without bail.

- According to the prosecution and Proffitt’s police statement, Chandler and Proffitt had opened their relationship, McClure moved into the home about two weeks earlier, and Proffitt confronted them with a hidden gun before shooting McClure multiple times and then Chandler.
