Overview
- Police were called to an altercation outside Blundell Park at about 8.45am on Thursday, June 25, and two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

- A 26‑year‑old, named by police as Liam Sibbick of Park Street, Grimsby, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article and remanded to appear at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.
- The other man, aged 39, remains in hospital receiving treatment and officers say they believe the incident was between people who knew each other, with no wider risk to the public.
- Road closures were put in place on Grimsby Road after the incident and police have urged anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact 101 or Crimestoppers as enquiries continue.
