- Queensland Police charged a 31-year-old Woolloongabba man with seven offences, including armed robbery with personal violence.

- Police allege he stole a black Toyota Yaris late Thursday, drove dangerously through several suburbs, then forcibly took a red Toyota Corolla at Kangaroo Point on Friday afternoon.
- The Corolla collided with multiple vehicles and rolled on the Story Bridge, closing all lanes during peak hour, with lanes reopening after 4pm and TransLink reporting bus delays of at least 30 minutes.
- The alleged offender was arrested at the scene and taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital under police guard with minor injuries, and a passenger and other victims were treated for minor injuries.
