Man Arrested at Walt Disney World McDonald’s for Alleged Public Exposure

The suspect has pleaded not guilty and the victim first sought help at a Disney fire station before flagging a deputy at Blizzard Beach.

Overview

  • A woman reported that a man exposed his genitals and masturbated while facing her car in the McDonald’s rideshare lot at Walt Disney World, and that the two made eye contact during the incident on April 17, 2026.
  • The victim drove away and said the man followed her, then drove to a Disney fire station for help but found it unstaffed and later flagged an Orange County deputy at Disney’s Blizzard Beach who arrested the suspect.
  • Authorities identified the suspect as 36-year-old Gavin Jones of Windermere, who was booked, had his vehicle towed, was charged with a first-offense misdemeanor for exposure of sexual organs, and has pleaded not guilty.
  • Jones denied the allegation in the arrest report and told deputies he sometimes scratches his pubic region without noticing because of a medical issue; booking records released by the county also show prior arrests dating back to 2007.
  • Under Florida law a first offense of exposing sexual organs is a first-degree misdemeanor; no trial date or further court disposition has been reported and the case highlights questions about on-site emergency response on large resort property.
