Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase From Bellingham Into Franklin

The arrest removes a driver with a revoked license and active warrants from local roads.

Overview

  • Bellingham officers tried to stop a blue Ford Ranger shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday and the pickup fled into Franklin, police said.
  • Franklin units deployed stop sticks on Grove Street that deflated the passenger-side tires, but the truck continued, struck several mailboxes, and stopped on Pond Street where the driver fled on foot.
  • Police say the suspect jumped a fence, swam across a small river into nearby woods, and prompted a multiagency search using K9 teams and drones.
  • Authorities later arrested 54-year-old Dominick Revell in Franklin, processed him at the Bellingham Police Department, and arraigned him in Milford District Court as prosecutors seek additional motor-vehicle warrants.
  • Officers reported finding drug paraphernalia and alcohol in the truck and say Revell is a habitual traffic offender with a revoked license and multiple active warrants, a record that may lead to stricter charges and revoked bail in earlier cases.
