Overview
- Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Homicide Command launched a murder probe after officers and the London Ambulance Service found a 22-year-old man with serious injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene following a 1.47am call on Tuesday.
- A substantial crime scene at the Bath Road/Great South West Road junction near Heathrow remains in place with forensic tents and officers carrying out evidence searches while no arrests have been reported so far.
- Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the inquiry, said officers responded quickly and described the enquiries as fast-paced as they work to establish exactly what happened.
