Overview
- Stephen Bouchard, 63, of Winslow, was arrested by Maine State Police on a murder charge in the 1987 death of Alice Hawkes in Westbrook.
- Bouchard is being held at the Cumberland County Jail with an arraignment pending.
- A Cumberland County grand jury indicted Bouchard after the Maine Attorney General’s Office sought a charge based on the renewed investigation.
