  • Maharashtra says it has already provided Rs 44,000 crore in relief, including an October compensation package of Rs 31,628 crore and over Rs 14,000 crore deposited directly into farmers’ accounts.
  • An eight-member Union team inspected Dharashiv, Beed, Ahilyanagar and Solapur from November 3 to 5, and another central team is expected.
  • The Assembly approved about Rs 75,000 crore in supplementary demands, with allocations for the Baliraja scheme, health coverage expansions and other support.
