Overview
- The Government Resolution, effective September 17, removes price ceilings for the Governor, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers, the Bombay High Court Chief Justice and the Lokayukta.
- Revised caps include Rs 30 lakh for cabinet ministers, high court judges and the chief secretary, Rs 25 lakh for additional and principal secretaries, and Rs 20 lakh for state information commissioners and MPSC members.
- District collectors, police commissioners and superintendents now have a Rs 15 lakh cap, and disaster-management field staff can procure multi‑utility vehicles up to Rs 12 lakh.
