Overview
- Approvals that surged over the weekend have now topped 675 across three days after 468 more were issued Monday, according to finance department data.
- The state had budgeted ₹9.24 lakh crore for 2025–26, and disbursements reached ₹5.9996 lakh crore by late Monday, or 64.91% of the total.
- More than 95% of Monday’s 468 Government Resolutions authorized fund releases, with the rest granting administrative approvals to proposals; a Government Resolution is the formal order that enables such spending.
- Key clearances included ₹400 crore for treatment under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana, ₹25 crore for rural hospital equipment, ₹11 crore for electric-vehicle subsidies, and administrative approval of ₹707 crore for BMC’s urban flood risk plan.
- The state also cleared ₹7.64 crore in viability gap funding for Sindhudurg’s Chipi airport, a move noted locally because the district is home to minister Nitesh Rane, in a year-end rush that Mantralaya routinely sees each March.
