Overview
- The sentencing on 25 June 2026 gave Purshotam Dhillon seven years in prison after a Croydon Crown Court jury convicted him of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
- Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime unit identified Hardeep Thind, also known as Harry Singh, as the network leader and jailed him for 12 years and six months for directing the operation.
- The Met says the probe began in January 2024, covered offending from October 2024 to July 2025, and used call data, phone downloads, surveillance and forensic links to map roles and activity.
- Officers executed coordinated warrants on 1 July 2025, seizing heroin, crack, packaging, scales, phones, cash and ‘tick lists’ with an estimated street value of about £174,000 and arresting multiple suspects.
- Police warned the case shows how county lines groups exploit trusted settings and said they will prioritise similar investigations to protect vulnerable communities and restore confidence in justice institutions.
