Overview
- Disney will run Celebrate America! fireworks three nights at 9:00 p.m. on July 3, July 4 and July 5, replacing Happily Ever After for those evenings and offering paid Tomorrowland Terrace dessert parties for reserved viewing.
- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress will close on July 6 for a lengthy, creative and technical refurbishment with a projected reopening in 2027 that will add new era scenes and an introductory Walt Disney segment.
- Extended Evening Hours will be held exclusively for guests of qualifying Disney Deluxe and select partner hotels from 10:00 p.m. to midnight on Wednesdays July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22 and July 29.
- Construction continues around Magic Kingdom as Piston Peak progresses after last year’s Rivers of America closure and Big Top Souvenirs remains closed since February, leaving Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy without their regular Storybook Circus meet‑and‑greet space.
- Those changes will alter crowd flow, evening demand and character availability, so visitors should rebook plans where needed and use the My Disney Experience app for real‑time showtimes, attraction status and character locations.
