Overview
- The San Cayetano program begins Tuesday with a Gigantes y Cabezudos exhibition at 19:30, followed by the official pregón by Samur-Protección Civil at 20:00 and the selection of the Personajes Castizos.
- Plaza del General Vara de Rey and Calle Ribera de Curtidores will run simultaneous stages hosting family workshops, local acts, evening concerts and DJ sessions through Friday.
- Soleá Morente is billed as a marquee headliner, scheduled to perform at 21:30 on Thursday, and other featured artists include Amanda Verdú and the duo Montoya & Carmona.
- The four-day San Cayetano cycle closes on Friday with a 19:00 Mass at the Iglesia de San Millán y San Cayetano and a procession departing at 20:00.
- Neighborhood associations are running free community events such as limonada, chotis masterclasses and aperitivos that activate the Rastro/Embajadores area and feed into the larger Aug. 4–16 festival run that includes San Lorenzo and La Paloma.
