Overview
- The Madrid provincial court, which issued its ruling Saturday, sentenced three men to between two and four and a half years in prison for the 2023 break-in at Radamel Falcao’s home and related burglaries.
- Judges said the thieves took ten luxury watches, fine jewelry, designer bags, sunglasses, and perfumes worth 406,756 euros from the El Plantío house in Pozuelo de Alarcón.
- The group entered through a neighboring property, used a stolen car and a moped with a fake plate, and forced the housekeeper to stay quiet while they searched the rooms.
- They were also convicted for pulling a safe from a bedroom in Pozuelo on November 23, 2023, stealing items from a home in Torrelodones on December 10, 2023, and causing damage in a failed attempt on December 16, 2023.
- Two defendants agreed to reduced terms after admitting the crimes on April 13, and the court ordered all three to pay Falcao 60,000 euros for unrecovered items, with 30,000 already on deposit.
