Madrid Adds N32 Night Bus Linking Avenida de América to Barajas Airport

Designed for airport shift workers, the overnight route joins a night network reporting roughly 30% ridership growth since late 2023.

Overview

  • Service began overnight on 23–24 February 2026 and runs nightly, with first and last departures at 00:15 and 05:30 from Avenida de América and at 00:10 and 05:25 from Terminal 4.
  • Buses run every 35 minutes Sunday to Thursday and every 17–18 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • The route starts at new stop no. 5857 (Avenida de América, 12), travels via the A‑2 with an intermediate stop in Canillejas, serves T1, T2 and T3, then continues along Avenida de Logroño to T4.
  • There are seven intermediate stops toward the airport and eight toward the city, and the line uses the same fare system as other EMT services.
  • Two standard CNG buses are assigned on weekdays and four on Friday and Saturday nights, as the N32 becomes the 31st route in a night network that has carried about 16.5 million riders since November 2023 with an average of roughly 20,012 daily users.
