Madonna Teams With Bilt to Cover Studio Rent at Her Old New York Rehearsal Space

The partnership links the July 3 Confessions II launch to a one-month rent payment for every current tenant at The Music Building to ease costs for working musicians.

Overview

  • Bilt announced the collaboration Wednesday, May 27, saying it will pay one month of studio rent for every musician currently leasing space at The Music Building in Midtown Manhattan.
  • Confessions II is due July 3 and is Madonna’s 15th studio album, her first LP in seven years, produced with Stuart Price and released on Warner Records after a two-decade absence from the label.
  • The promotion includes a Bilt-exclusive limited-edition vinyl with custom artwork and photographs by Raphael Pavarotti, member-only release-night parties in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, and a special Rent Free game-show episode featuring Madonna.
  • The album’s lead single, “I Feel So Free,” recently rose to No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, giving Madonna measurable radio momentum ahead of the full release.
  • The Music Building has long hosted emerging New York artists, and Bilt’s rent pledge aims to relieve short-term affordability pressure while signaling a blend of artist-aligned marketing and community support that could prompt similar brand-musician tie-ups.
