Overview
- Phase 1 runs November 3–December 31, 2025 with 60–100% surcharge relief, followed by Phase 2 from January 1–February 28, 2026 with 50–90% waivers.
- Eligibility covers domestic, non-domestic, agricultural and industrial users with bills overdue by at least three months.
- The state projects more than Rs 3,000 crore in waived surcharges benefiting about 90 lakh consumers.
- To register for installment options, domestic and agricultural users must deposit 10% of dues, while non-domestic and industrial users must deposit 25%.
- Consumers may pay in full or in up to six installments, with maximum benefit for one-time payment, and missing the second installment voids eligibility.
