Overview
- The cabinet approved a special package for the Maswasi industrial area targeting Rs 24,240 crore in investment and about 29,000 direct jobs over five years.
- The package fixes land lease and allotment at Re 1 per sq m, allows development fees in 20 annual instalments, reimburses 100% of stamp and registration fees, and grants a five-year electricity duty exemption, excluding cement units.
- Administrative sanction was given for a 76.68 km four-lane Sagar–Damoh road costing Rs 2,059.85 crore under HAM, with 40% funded by MPRDC, long-term state annuity support, and separate land acquisition funding.
- Healthcare capacity will expand with 990 regular and 615 outsourced posts for new government medical colleges in Damoh, Chhatarpur and Budhni, plus upgrades to 12 facilities with 348 additional posts and a Rs 27.17 crore outlay.
