Overview
- The Cabinet approved development and maintenance works worth Rs 4,525 crore under the Public Works Department, including MP Road Development Programme-6 and -7 funding through 2031 plus allocations for NDB-backed projects and building upkeep.
- Administrative approval was granted for elevated corridors in Ujjain totaling about Rs 945 crore to decongest key approaches for Simhastha 2028.
- Leaders highlighted the Union-cleared 80.45 km Badnawar–Petlawad–Thandla–Timarwani four-lane corridor at an estimated Rs 3,839 crore, targeted for 2027 to complete the Ujjain–Timarwani link to the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.
