Overview
- The state cabinet, which met Monday in Bhopal, approved an outlay of about Rs 19,810 crore that will run from 2026–27 to 2030–31.
- Roads get Rs 10,801 crore covering build-operate-transfer contracts, scheduled annuity payments to private partners, and a loan-backed project at the state road corporation.
- The government set aside Rs 1,674 crore to run six new medical colleges with central help, linking district hospitals in Rajgarh, Mandla, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Shivpuri and Singrauli.
- Farm modernisation receives Rs 2,250 crore under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation to expand machine access, seed custom hiring centres and cut crop-burning through residue tools.
- Women and Child Development schemes get Rs 240.42 crore, with eight new One Stop Centres approved to provide crisis support in Maihar, Mauganj, Pandhurna, Manawar, Pithampur, Lasudia, Sanwer and Petlawad.
