- The 24th edition runs August 19–31 across a wide network of venues, including Cineteca Nacional, Cineteca de las Artes, Cinematógrafo del Chopo, Biblioteca de México, Biblioteca Vasconcelos and Museo Panteón de San Fernando.
- Organizers are screening 139 works from 24 countries, with 52 features and 87 shorts that include 56 Mexican titles, 26 national premieres and 8 international premieres.
- This year’s “Hotel Macabro” theme nods to iconic horror hotels and includes a 65th‑anniversary screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
- Special programs feature a 30‑work retrospective celebrating the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica’s 50th anniversary and a public talk by RC Matheson honoring Richard Matheson’s legacy.
- Site‑specific schedules add community access with FARO Oriente and FARO Cosmos screenings, a grindhouse marathon at Centro Cultural Xavier Villaurrutia and classic titles like Duel, The Omega Man and The Incredible Shrinking Man at Museo Panteón de San Fernando.
