- The survey was conducted February 22–25 with 2,080 respondents across 26 states and the Federal District, carrying a ±2.2 percentage point margin of error at 95% confidence and TSE registration BR-07974/2026.
- The share rating the government as “péssimo” rose to 36.2%, with 43.5% calling it “ruim” or “péssimo,” while 32.6% say “ótima” or “boa” and 22.5% “regular.”
- Disapproval is highest in the South at 62.8% and in the Southeast at 55.1%, while the Northeast shows 59.2% approval versus 37.9% disapproval.
- Approval reaches 64.3% among Bolsa Família beneficiaries, compared with 40.0% approval and 56.8% disapproval among non-beneficiaries.
- Recent participation in a religious celebration correlates with higher disapproval at 56.3% versus 47.5% among those who did not attend, and overall disapproval has edged up from 50.6% in January and 50.9% in November.
