- At a Planalto ceremony on Thursday, June 11, President Lula delivered 18 land titles that together cover about 11,600 hectares and benefit roughly 1,780 families.
- The president signed decrees authorizing roughly R$232 million for legalizing quilombola territories, including four desapropriações covering about 897 hectares and an estimated 333 families.
- The Imóvel da Gente program has now destined about 1,900 federal properties in 638 municipalities, a portfolio the government says could serve some 400,000 families across more than 18,500 km².
- The event included 31 PAC Periferia Viva commitment terms for R$138 million aimed at regularization and titling work for more than 100,000 families and new targeted credit lines such as R$19–19.5 million for housing in the Kalunga territory.
- Officials and quilombola leaders praised the speed and new instruments such as Programa Aquilomba Brasil and the first Quilombola Census but warned that legal disputes over private parcels, procedural backlog and complex bureaucracy must be reformed to make titles durable and deliver services to communities.
