Lukashenko Confirms 'Oreshnik' in Belarus, Denies Slutsk Deployment

He says the rocket system is positioned for maximum advantage, with the site kept secret.

Speaking at the VII All‑Belarusian People's Assembly on Dec. 19, Alexander Lukashenko said the Russian 'Oreshnik' rocket complex is deployed on Belarusian territory.
He rejected claims of a placement near Slutsk as a complete lie and declined to disclose the actual location.
Lukashenko said the system was positioned where it is most expedient and added that the precise site will become evident over time.
He reiterated that the complex arrived on Dec. 17 and that its first positions have already been prepared.
He claimed more than half of the complex is Belarusian-made, with the missile produced in Russia, and mocked exiled opposition figures over their reports.
