- Lucasfilm announced Tuesday that The Mandalorian and Grogu will be available to purchase on digital platforms on July 21 and on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on August 25.
- The digital release will appear on major PVOD sellers, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango.
- Both the digital and physical editions include hours of bonus material, notably multiple behind-the-scenes featurettes and a full audio commentary by director Jon Favreau.
- Collector-focused packaging will be sold, with a SteelBook edition and a U.S.-only Beskar Collector’s Edition that includes premium packaging and metal posters.
- Lucasfilm also confirmed a LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian special will stream on Disney+ on September 2 and no official Disney+ premiere date for the theatrical film has been announced, with outlets expecting a later Disney+ debut after the PVOD and disc windows.
