The LTA used the awards to showcase inclusive grassroots work alongside elite success.

Overview

  • At a Thursday, April 16th ceremony at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, the LTA Awards, presented by Lexus, named winners from more than 3,000 nominations across 14 categories.
  • East Glos Club in Cheltenham won Club of the Year for extensive community outreach, while South Shields’ Epinay Business & Enterprise School took School of the Year after building weekly curriculum tennis for 170+ pupils and staging a local festival.
  • Volunteer recognitions underscored inclusion, with Sodbury Tennis Club’s Nicola Webber named Official of the Year for running accessible events for visually impaired and deaf players, and Bolton’s Khadija Patel earning the Cathie Sabin Volunteer award for opening the sport to women and girls.
  • On the performance side, Jack Draper collected Male Player of the Year after his Indian Wells title and French Open run, and Lloyd Glasspool with Julian Cash earned Doubles honours following their 2025 Wimbledon win and rise to the top of the world rankings.
  • Rising talents Hannah Klugman (Girls’ Player) and Oliver Bonding (Boys’ Player) were recognised alongside Performance Coach of the Year Alison Taylor, reflecting the awards’ mission—launched in 2015—to link community impact with pathways to top-level tennis and padel.
