LSU secured a commitment from transfer point guard Jada Williams after her season at Iowa State.
The addition fills an urgent need at point guard for the Tigers following several guard departures, including starter Jada Richard entering the portal.
Williams averaged 15.3 points, a Big 12–best 7.7 assists, and 3.5 rebounds last season with the Cyclones.
She will use her final year of eligibility at LSU after two seasons at Arizona and one at Iowa State, and she was a McDonald’s All-American in high school.
Her shooting splits last season were 41.7% from the field, 30.3% from three, and 80.5% at the line, with the three-point mark a career high on 4.8 attempts.
