- The university confirmed a four-day trip to Baha Mar Resort running July 27–30 with exhibitions scheduled July 28 at 2 p.m. ET and July 29 at noon ET at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts and Entertainment Center.
- Louisville arrives with nine newcomers and a six-man transfer class ranked No. 1 by 247Sports, including Flory Bidunga, Jackson Shelstad, Karter Knox and Álvaro Folgueiras.
- Kelsey described the excursion as a "business trip" that will yield about 10 extra practices and two games before the school year, a benefit enabled by current NCAA rules that allow annual foreign tours.
