Louis Vuitton Opens Pop-Up 'Hotel' in London for Monogram’s 130th Anniversary

The brand uses an immersive hotel-style space to celebrate its heritage rather than launch a move into real hotel operations.

Overview

  • The temporary, multi-floor space, which opened Friday in a Mayfair townhouse at 28 Berkeley Square, runs through June 21 and does not offer overnight stays.
  • Each floor centers on a hallmark bag to tell the Monogram’s story, with a Speedy Room styled like a suite and a gold Safe Room showing Pharrell Williams’ Speedy P9 craft.
  • The ground-floor Keepall Lobby adds services that shoppers can use on the spot, including care and repair, hot-stamped personalization, and postcard calligraphy.
  • Café Alma serves lunch and afternoon tea with Ruinart and Dom Pérignon, while Bar Noé functions as a Champagne bar that stays open late with DJs on weekends, all bookable in the Louis Vuitton app.
  • London is the final and only European stop in this pop-up series after Shanghai, New York SoHo and Seoul, and CEO Pietro Beccari says the concept showcases travel heritage rather than a shift into running hotels.
