- OLG, which named the winners Thursday, said Greg S. and Krys P. matched all seven numbers in the Dec. 30, 2025 Lotto Max draw for $80 million, the largest lottery payout in Canadian history.
- The winning ticket was bought at Happy Day’s Mini Mart on Aldersbrook Road in northwest London, with numbers 5, 21, 32, 38, 43, 44 and 45.
- Greg said he first checked the ticket by circling each number with a pen, then scanned it on the OLG app and saw “Big Winner” with the number 80.
- The longtime friends immigrated in the 1990s, met in an English class, and often used Quick Pick when jackpots were high, and they now plan to buy homes, travel to Japan, New Zealand and Australia, and set up their families’ futures.
