Overview
- A Guinness adjudicator confirmed the 440.6-metre dessert at Chelsea Town Hall after a weekend build, setting the new longest tiramisu record.
- One hundred Italian chefs led by Mirko Ricci assembled a single, continuous tiramisu on site under live observation.
- The attempt met Guinness size rules, with minimum 8 cm height and 15 cm width, and used about 50,000 ladyfingers and more than 3,000 eggs.
- Organisers sold portions to the public, with 2 kg trays at £45 and 250 g slices at £10, and said proceeds would go to the Esharelife Foundation.
- The 440.6-metre length beat Galbani’s 2019 record of 273.5 metres and the team dedicated the feat to the King and the Royal Family with a golden crown finish.
